Recommended Diets For Quick Weight Loss
If you want to lose weight fast, there are several recommended diets for quick weight loss that are tried and true and work rapidly. With obesity becoming somewhat of a national epidemic, it is becoming more apparent that being overweight is not only unattractive, but unhealthy. Although everyone needs some fats to survive, some fats, particularly trans fats that are found in some fast foods, have no nutritional value, are difficult to digest and are actually harmful to your health.
Whenever you are trying the low fat diet, or any diet, you should take a multivitamin every day to make sure you are getting the right amount of nutrients in your system.
1200 Calories A Day - No More
Watching your calorie intake is another effective form of dieting. Actually, watching calories is a way to lose weight quickly but calorie intake should be monitored by everyone. Each time you eat something, you need to mark the calorie intake down on a piece of paper. You will need either a calorie counter book or access to a calorie counter online.
Twelve hundred calories a day is a rough estimate. The least amount of calories that you intake each day the more weigh that you lose. You must be careful, however, that you do not allow yourself to get too weak. Again, you will want to take a multi vitamin to make up for any missing minerals you need. You can go online and check out how much calorie is recommended for your height. This will depend on whether you are active or non active and the calorie intake will also fluctuate if you want to lose weight. Follow these recommendations and you will lose weight very rapidly. Combine it with exercise and you will lose even more weight. Watching your calories is an easy way not only to lose weight, but also maintain the weight loss. As you reach your ideal weight, you can slowly increase your calorie intake so that you do not gain the weight that you lost right back.
The Vegetarian Delight
This is a diet where all meats are eliminated as well as fried foods and fast foods. Your diet consists of vegetables and salads. Legumes and beans will be needed to replace much needed protein so that you do not get weak. You can eat as much as you want when it come to fruits and vegetables and salads as long as you use no calorie, no fat dressing or dips. You should also drink a lot of water during this diet. Again, if you incorporate exercise into this diet, you can lose even more weight.
As with all diets, you should watch what you drink. People often consume quite a bit of calories in what they drink each day. Eliminate soda pop and sugared drinks from your diet. Drink at least eight glasses of water each day. Exercise as much as you can, even if you are only doing simple stretching exercises in the privacy of your home.
There are other recommended diets for quick weight loss, but these are three that are tried and true and have always worked for me. As with any diet, will power is needed and the desire to lose weight has to overcome the diet to eat the foods that you crave. Also, always keep in mind that if you fall off the diet wagon, that is no reason to give up. Simply get back on the wagon and continue the diet as if nothing has happened.
